IIT, Kanpur is ranked 4th in all India ranking by NIRF and one of the top B.Tech Colleges of U.P The Institute is an autonomous public technical university of India. The institute offers B.Tech courses across 8 various specializations The admission in IIT Kanpur is based on JEE-Advance entrance ranks and JoSAA counseling. The seat Intake of the B.Tech Course is 626 only.
2. IIT (BHU)
IIT (BHU), Varanasi offers B.Tech courses across 10 specializations. It is the 2nd best Engineering college in Uttar Pradesh. The admissions are based on JEE-Advanced scores and candidates need to qualify the JEE-Advanced entrance exam. To appear in the JEE-Advance examination, the candidate must secure a rank among 2,50,000 in JEE-Mains. The final seats in IIT (BHU) are allotted during the JoSAA counseling.
3. Amity University, Noida
Amity University is a UGC-recognized private University that offers B.Tech courses across 20 different specializations. The admissions are based on the score in the university-based entrance test (AMITY JEE). The college has excellent state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. The course fee is high as compared to other private colleges.
4. Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh
Aligarh Muslim University was established in 1921 and is spread across 1115 acres of land, it offers B.Tech courses across 7 specializations. It also offers admission to even batches of B.E / B.Tech courses in three specializations. For admissions, University conducts an entrance examination -AMUEEE that is followed by a counseling round.
5. Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT)
MNNIT is ranked 48th by NIRF, the institute, it is a government-aided institute and also offers many scholarships based on merit or state or central government scholarship schemes. Admissions to MNNIT, Allahabad is based on the JEE-Main entrance rank followed by JoSAA counseling. The institute also has a commendable placement record, in the 2020 Placement program, the highest package bagged by a student was Rs 49 L.P.A.
6. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT)
JIIT, Noida was established in 2001 by Jaypee Group of Companies and it is a private deemed to be a university. The university offers B.Tech courses under 4 specializations and it one of the top B.tech colleges in the U.P. 50% of seats are filled on the basis of JEE-main Score and the rest of the 50% are filled on the basis of the merit score of the candidates in the qualifying examination. The university is known for its outstanding placement record which was 96% in 2020, the highest CTC offered during the 2020 campus placement was Rs 43.17 L.P.A bagged by 4 students.
7. Dayal Bagh Educational Institute
DEI Agra institute has a prestigious history of more than 100 years as it was established in 1917 in Agra, later entitled with the status of deemed university by UGC India in 1981. The institute offers admission in the B.Tech program across 4 major specializations on a total of 240 seats (60 seats in each specialization). The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit score in 10+2 and JEE-Main score followed by an interview.
8. Harcourt Butler Technical University
The University was established in 2016 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. it is one of the top B.Tech colleges in UP. The university offers the B.Tech course in 14 various specializations including Oil Technology and Paint Technology. The admissions to the B.Tech course offered by HBTU, Kanpur are given on the basis of national levels entrance examinations such as JEE, GATE, or CET.
9. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Amethi
RGIPT, Amethi is a government institution established in 2008 by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. The institute offers admissions to B.Tech Program under 2 specializations that are B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering and B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
